Antalis Creative Power Awards celebrate the power of creativity

As designers and printers, through your ideas and expertise you give character and personality to papers; creating desire, raising awareness and generating impact.
It’s important to us to honour and praise you, your creative thinking and your work.
In partnership with The Brand Identity, the Antalis Creative Power Awards is the opportunity to celebrate your creative excellence applied to, or in combination with, our high quality papers. Our expert jury will assess the entered projects according to 8 awards categories. All winners will attain instant industry recognition and benefit from extensive media coverage, including articles and interviews with The Brand Identity.
Whether you are graphic designers, communication agencies, printers or end-users, we hope to receive your most beautiful projects completed throughout 2021 and up to May 31st, 2022.

2022 expert jury
The expert jury consists of a panel of industry experts who work in Design, Communications and Production roles.
The jury will assess the projects received in each category based on criteria highlighting creativity, functionality, accuracy of execution and appropriate use of papers distributed by Antalis.



Laurence CHASTAING
\ CHANEL
Laurence has been working for CHANEL since 1999. After 7 years in the Packaging Development Department, she joined the Artistic Direction to work on “Printing and Soft Products Development” within the Packaging Creation Studio. With expertise in the field of printing, Laurence oversees ambitious projects, such as magazine editions, catalogues and brochures, from concept to delivery. As a true technical support for Chanel’s print launches, including those launched internationally, she is always looking for new media and processes – and excellence in execution. Laurence remains a lover of paper, and everything that surrounds its prestige.

Yann CLOUTIER
\ Atelier BULK
CEO and founder of Atelier Bulk, Yann Cloutier also teaches graphic design and printing in renowned Applied Arts, Creative and Communication Schools in France (EBABX, ECV, EFAP).
Atelier Bulk is a place for exchange and production.
With 20 years experience, Atelier Bulk offers an unlimited range of solutions in traditional and contemporary printing, from paper choices to technical advice including finishing and embellishment processes, so that designers can imagine their project and see new printing possibilities. “Our atelier is a place where ideas meet print” says Yann.

Martina HAHN-RODIG
\ H+M
Responsible for the European subsidiaries, consulting customers of KURZ for 12 years, Martina joined Hinderer + Mühlich (H+M) in 2001.
H+M is a highly specialised manufacturer of stamping tools, setting standards in multiple businesses including packaging, printing and many more.
As a Sales Manager, Martina is responsible for the Asian, Indian, American and French markets. Her thorough understanding of processes involved in the printing and interior design industries, combined with a deep understanding about design, allows Martina the opportunity to work as a consultant for designers, brand owners and printers.


Elliott MOODY
\ The Brand Identity
After graduating from Norwich University of the Arts, British designer Elliott Moody developed his skills and knowledge of design at a multitude of UK-based design studios, including a four year spell at The District in Cambridge.
During this time, he founded international graphic design resource The Brand Identity, which he now operates full-time alongside a small team of designers and writers. By publishing a curated selection of articles and a diverse range of products on a weekly basis, they aim to empower the graphic design industry and those operating within it by providing a consistent, diverse and easy-to-use platform, made for all.

Golnar ROSHAN
\ Design & Practice
After having graduated in Design and the Arts in Sydney, Australia specialising in Visual Communications and International Studies Golnar Roshan relocated to Europe to seek experience and inspiration between studies in Barcelona, working in Amsterdam before moving to London.
Over a decade later, Golnar is co-founder of multi-disciplinary design studio based in Amsterdam “Design & Practice” and the artistic practice “Rive Roshan” together with Ruben de la Rive Box. With a strong focus on tactility, colour and immersive branding their array of international clients include Tom Dixon, Hyatt Hotels, Harper’s Bazaar and Publicis Drugstore.

Laurent NOGUES
\ Créanog
After earning his diploma from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués & Métiers d’Art (ENSAAMA), Laurent Nogues decided to devote himself to preserving his family’s savoir-faire. In 1994, he created, CREANOG in the heart of Paris, specialising in graphic design, relief engraving, and traditional techniques of embossing and hot stamping. For over 25 years, CREANOG has established itself with its customers to manufacture communication tools and objects, in the fields of fine jewellery, fashion, perfumes, cosmetics, wines, and spirits. A recipient of various accolades for his masterful work, including the title of Master of Art by the Minister of Culture and Communication, Laurent Nogues constantly seeks to invest in new areas. Through his collection of tactile books, “Sensitinéraires” he hopes to give new meaning to embossing: relief on paper allowing the blind to discover the wonders of French history.
In honour of this work, in 2015 Laurent Nogues received the Prix Liliane Bettencourt for the tactile book “La tenture de l’Apocalypse”. He continues to share his work in France and abroad.

Amy NELSON-BENNETT
\ Positive Luxury
Amy is Co-CEO of Positive Luxury, which offers the only sustainability programme tailored to the luxury businesses, with a leading ESG+ assessment and Butterfly Mark certification. Amy brings 25 years of international experience in business strategy, turnaround and transformation, branding, digital commerce and communications to the overall strategic and operational direction of Positive Luxury.
By championing a new definition of luxury that aligns the core principles of luxury and sustainability, Positive Luxury aims to accelerate the actions of the luxury industry and the collective positive impact it can have on both nature and society.

Emilios THEOFANOUS
\ Monotype
Born in Cyprus, Emilios Theofanous has a soft spot for quality Greek and multilingual typography. Emilios studied type design in EsadType, Amiens, France and has a multidisciplinary background. Emilio enjoys engaging with young designers, namely in workshops on type design and related emerging technologies. He is also an avid collector of printed type specimens, which he often turns to for creative inspiration, historical research and pleasure.
Since joining Monotype, Emilios has worked on many custom typeface projects for clients across fashion, banking, retail and automotive sectors, as well as some iconic Monotype Library releases including Helvetica Now and Futura Now.

Finalists
The jury will meet in Paris mid-June to review and select six finalist projects per category. These projects will be announced throughout the summer and some will be showcased by The Brand Identity.
Awards Reveal
Antalis and The Brand Identity will announce the final winners in mid-September. A magazine featuring the jury's 50 favourite designs will also be published following the competition.
